About flipexcess

A B2B marketplace for surplus and excess food and beverage inventory in Singapore. It connects sellers who have stock to clear -- overproduction, cancelled orders, approaching best-before dates, packaging changeovers -- with buyers looking for a deal on wholesale lots.

How it works

Sellers list surplus stock with details on quantity, condition, and why it's available. Buyers browse live listings and place bids; sellers can accept, decline, or counter-offer until both sides agree on a price and quantity.

Structured deposit-and-balance payments

Once a bid is accepted, the order moves through a structured payment flow on the platform: a deposit step to secure the deal, a balance step before shipment, and a confirmation step once goods are received. This is not escrow and no payment provider is connected yet -- these steps track the deal's progress rather than moving real money today. See our Trust Centre for the full, current picture of what's live versus planned.

Trust and verification

Businesses on flipexcess go through a verification step -- business registration documents, bank statement cross-checks, and GST status -- before their account is approved. Instead of a single trust score, every account shows discrete evidence -- what was verified, when, and how many trades have completed -- so both sides know exactly who they're dealing with.

Where we are

flipexcess is at an early, pilot stage. We're building this out with real sellers and buyers in Singapore's F&B industry, and the platform will keep evolving as we learn what actually helps both sides move surplus stock efficiently and fairly.
